The area of Bujeon, desperately needs help to maintain its traditional market alive and engage its community with its surroundings. A core facility will be created where twolines overlap, the line guiding the Bujeon Market main corridor, and the street adjacent to this line.
The project will become the core of this community, establishing visual connections to the places of interest in the area for both residents and visitors
There are a number of problems around here.
The roads around the site are so crowded that it is a very dangerous place for people to move through and makes it difficult for elderly residents and shoppers to move safely. The disconnect that exists in the site is due to the lack of direct connection from the main four areas: the traditional market, the train station, the subway, the electronics market, and Busan Citizens park.
To first step to address these issues is to fix the circulation around the site. The hectic environment of the main road is a mix of people searching for close parking, unloading of goods, and pedestrians crossing the road.
